Společně hledáme nové tvarosloví nábytku a interiérových produktů, přidáváme nové funkce a snažíme se přemýšlet dopředu. Podporujeme odvážné konceptuální řešení s možnými přesahy do umění a site-specific instalací, řemesla či nových technologií. Studenti se nebojí experimentovat s novými materiály, nebo vyvíjejí vlastní. Zadání jsou často abstraktní a široce orientována na design nábytkových prvků, osvětlení, menších užitkových předmětů – vždy s ohledem na kontext interiéru a zaměření cílových skupin. Přicházejí s konceptem a snaží se porozumět vztahům mezi člověkem a předměty, jež používá. Samozřejmostí je společný brainstorming, hledání inovativního tvarového řešení, samostatná i kolektivní práce v oblasti projektů a spolupráce s výrobci.
We work together on searching for new morphology of furniture and interior products, we add new functionalities and we develop our forward thinking. We support curageous conceptual solutions with possibilites of overlap to art and site-specific installations, crafts and new technologies. The students are not averse to experimentation with new materials or even developing their own. The assignments are often focused on broad areas of furniture, lighting or smaller objects design. This is always in the context of the specific interior and the target groups. Students come up with the concept and they endeavour to understand the relationship between people and objects they use.
